QuickBooks App Terms
Effective July 26, 2026
These terms govern use of the private QuickBooks Journal Entry Bridge operated by Cohort Consulting Group, LLC (“Cohort”). They are specific to this app and supplement Cohort’s website terms.
Authorized use
The bridge is for Cohort-authorized bookkeeping activity only. It is not a public service. Users must have authority to access the connected QuickBooks company and must comply with Intuit’s applicable terms.
Accounting responsibility
The bridge assists with preparation, validation, posting, and read-back verification. It does not replace accounting judgment. The operator remains responsible for source support, account selection, dates, dimensions, approvals, and review of each journal entry. Posting is disabled unless separately activated for the company.
Connection and termination
A QuickBooks administrator may authorize access through Intuit. An authorized representative may request disconnection at any time. Disconnecting revokes the bridge’s Intuit grant and removes local QBO-derived application data; it does not reverse or delete transactions already stored in QuickBooks.
Availability and warranties
The bridge is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. QuickBooks and Intuit services are third-party services outside Cohort’s control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
